Somebody Liked It

On  a whim, a little while back, I tried my hand at writing something that was pure erotica. I used all kinds of big dirty words, threw in some kink and came up with a a shorty story about a secretary and her boss.  Now before you think this is some story about a male in a position of power asserting his dominance over his female underling, let me assure you that the secretary in this tale is the one calling the shots.

My Secretary, My Mistress has been picked up by Cobblestone Press and I couldn’t be happier. I think it will be a fabulous fit with them. And once the edits are done on it, I will be writing the second part of this erotic journey where I will delve into the menage concept. I can’t wait to orchestrate that scene.

How do you feel about erotica? Do you read it? How does it compare to a regular romance story where there is alot more tension before consummation? Let me know what you think.

And stay posted for My Secretary, My Mistress’s release date.

Madonna is the best

I admit it, Glee is another one of my guilty pleasures and last nights episode featuring Madonna tunes was wicked. I have been a Madonna fan since she started her singing career–a long, long time ago lol. School dances rocked when one her tunes came on–’Crazy For You’ being the ultimate slow dance song. I even used to own the album for ‘Like A Virgin’ with Madonna decked out in lace and pouffy hair.  Then CD’s came along, and well, let’s just say I’ve owned quite a few of those too.

One of the things that I and thousands, actually make that probably millions of women, love about Madonna is the female power she represents. Here is a lady who sets trends, who doesn’t care what people say and despite the roadblocks critics and others put in her way, made it. When I think of the controversy caused by ‘Papa Don’t Preach’, ‘Like A Virgin’ and ‘Like a Prayer’, things that today nobody would even bat an eye about, she was truly a pioneer. Make that fearless and unafraid to forge ahead. Although I’m still not sure about the whole voguing thing lol.

Are you a Madonna lover or hater? I know my husband rolls my eyes as I sing–badly–along with her. Do you feel another female music artist deserves the title of all time female icon more than her?

Personally, I take my hat off to her and all her accomplishments, and I will continue to listen, love and rock to her music. Oh and I intend to get my daughter to memorize the words to Express Yourself, the song about not taking any bull from anyone. Girl Power! Wooo!

My New Banner

If you came through my site on the homepage and are a repeat visitor, you probably noticed my nice new banner. In a stroke of fabulous luck, I responded to a FaceBook contest by Tricia Picky Schmitt. If I became the first of two fans for her new FaceBook Fan page, I woud win a free graphic. Well low and behold, I became her fan and I WON!

The result? The gorgeous banner I now sport at the top of all my pages on my site. And if I can figure it out, soon across the top of my blog too.

What do you guys think? Pretty hunh?! If you’d like to see more of her work then become her fan on FaceBook at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Pickyme/309839267386?v=info&ref=ts  She’s  got more artwork for you to peruse and you can commision her for any graphics you require.

Thank you Tricia for giving my website that extra ounce of class and sexiness it lacked. I love my new banner!

Have a great weekend everyone.

RPG’s rock!

RPG stands for role play games for those who are wondering. And I am addicted to them.

My current RPG –aka obsession– is the new Evony II. It’s a gaming application that you can access directly at evony.com or via facebook. I played Evony I for about 7 months before I finally had to give it up. because it was too time consuming what with my gigantic army’s feedings needs–those who farmed in this game know what I mean. Yet less than 2 weeks later I’m at it again with number 2 after seeing an ad for the improved version. I only meant to check it out–really, I swear–now I’m sucked right back in.

Evony is like an interactive and visal game of a very advanced Risk for those who’ve played the board game. A war game of sorts where you need to build a town that can support it self, an army and make allies to support you when you go to war. Like drugs, it is addictive and because you can’t pause this game, you are constantly logging on to check on it–building/upgrading, queuing troops and wall defenses. Damn is it fun.

Course it can take a toll on your personal life. ‘Hey mom come and see what I did.’ And my reply ‘Hold on a second while I set my army marching on this guys castle’. LOL. It’s also a social network with a world chat available as well as an inter alliance one. On saturday nights when my hubby leaves me to watch the game with the boys, I log on and war with my online friends with cool names like Beglareth from my old alliance to Souless on my new one, and of course my wicked name, QueenEvel.

So if you find yourself bored and looking to play an interactive, highly addictive game, come and join me on Evony- server na7. I look forward to capturing your castle. Muah-hahahah!

LOL

I love Survivor

I admit it. Laugh at me all you want, I still love it. And this has to be one of the best seasons yet. Heroes Vs Villains. Every single episode I’m cackling or yelling at the TV. Russell drives me nuts and I can’t believe everyone caters to him. I’m sad they voted Boston Rob–I loved Romber! Rupert is not as fun as when he played before sadly. And Colby not as hot.

That said now that my favoured one has been voted off, I’m torn amongst a few I’d like to see win–JT the farm boy, Candice cause she’s cut throat and oddly enough Sandra–that woman is just evil. Who are you favouring to win?

The challenges this season have been harsh and physically challenging. Love it, but I wish they had more emphasis on making them gather food for themselves and to build better shelters. I remember one season when their challenge was to create the best camp–that was great as they ended up with a toilet and everything lol. It drives me nuts to see them lounging around waiting for competitions. You?

Then there’s Jeff, the host. He’s been shaking his head and poking fun alot this season at their strategy during tribal council. I loved it when he laughed at the Villains for weakening their team which has resulted in back to back losses.  Courtney didn’t think it was as funny though lol. Who else cheered when coach–the idiot who never shut up–got voted off? Sorry dragon slayer but my eyeballs hurt from rolling everytime you opened your mouth.

What’s your take on Survior? I’d love to hear from other fans.
